The Oakland Mills High School Booster Club is made up of parent volunteers dedicated to enhancing the OM student experience by providing additional funding for OMHS extra-curricular activities through collaboration with the school administration, club sponsors, coaches, student support groups, and community businesses.
The Booster Club typically donates $10,000 to $15,000 every school year to athletic teams and numerous clubs, classes and other student centered organizations. We donate money to the prom committee and to Senior Year activities to ensure that all of OM's students can fully participate in these very important activities . Your time and support is invaluable.

Make Money for Your Team, Club, Class, or Activity
If you are a coach/advisor for an athletic team, club, class, activity, or other student centered organization at OMHS and you are looking for some MONEY for your club, organization, or group then the OMHS Boster Club can help you out.
The Booster Club has made working in the Hut (for those that don't know, that is the concession stand) a direct fund raiser for all the teams, clubs, classes, and activities. No longer will it be necessary for a coach or a club advisor to ask the Booster Club for money. If you want money for a specific team, club, class, or activity all you need to do is get parents, staff, and students to sign up to work in the Hut.
There are no restrictions as to how many volunteer slots a specific team, club, class, or activity can work and the more you work the more you earn for your team, club, class, or activity of choice. The only restriction is that an adult (parent or OMHS staff) is ALWAYS present when students are also working.
For the 2016-2017 school year, each volunteer slot listed on the schedule is worth $15 and the money will be paid out at the end of each season (or in-season if requested). All slots must be filled the day before the event in order for the Hut open.
